Changing your equipment categories
When you sign up for Fabman, we add some equipment categories to your account. Categories help you organize your equipment. And when you configure your packages, you can give permissions and discounts for whole categories or individual pieces of equipment.
Chances are, the default categories don’t exactly fit the kinds of machines in your space. To change these categories, follow these steps:
- If you haven’t added any equipment yet, you can click on "Change your equipment categories…" below the category selection when you add your first equipment:
- Once you’ve added at least one equipment, you can access change your categories by following these steps:
- Click on "Configure" in the main menu and then selecting "Equipment".
- Click on "Change equipment categories":
