Change the WiFi settings of a bridge
If you power on a new bridge for the first time, it will automatically begin the WiFi setup and and display setup information. Proceed with the normal WiFi setup.
If you've already configured the WiFi but need to change it, you have four options to restart the WiFi setup:
- Alternative 1: by unplugging power
- Unplug the power cord of the bridge.
- Press and hold the stop button on the front (below the display).
- Plug the power cord back in while still holding the stop button.
- Release the stop button.
- Your bridge will start and display WiFi setup information.
- Alternative 2: by using the keycard of an admin or owner
- Press and hold the stop button on the front (below the display).
- Swipe the keycard of an admin or owner across the bridge.
- Release the stop button.
- Your bridge will display WiFi setup information.
- Alternative 3: by pressing the reset button once
- Take a small paper clip and unfold it until you have a bit of straight wire.
- Locate the very small hole on the bottom of the bridge, next to the left ventilation slits.
- Press and hold the stop button on the front (below the display).
- Slide the end of the straightened paper clip into the hole and press gently until you feel a click.
- Remove the paper clip from the hole.
- Release the stop button.
- Your bridge will restart and display WiFi setup information.
- Alternative 4: if your bridge does not have a stop button
- Take a small paper clip and unfold it until you have a bit of straight wire.
- Locate the very small hole on the bottom of the bridge, next to the left ventilation slits.
- Slide the end of the straightened paper clip into the hole and press gently until you feel a click.
- Your bridge will restart.
- Repeat step 3 two more times within 30 seconds.
- Your bridge will restart and begin the Wifi setup and display setup information.
Once you see the setup instructions,
proceed with the normal WiFi setup.
